Located on the Coast de La Luz, Isla Canela is a natural island linked by a
bridge to Ayamonte in the province of Huelva with the purest of Andalusian
charm. It is a tranquil and unspoilt area on the western fringe of the Cost
De La Luz (Coast of Light) facing the Atlantic Ocean.
Isla Canela has an exceptional climate with over 7km of fine, sandy duned
beach, navigable canals in a well looked after and preserved natural
environment. It is a beautiful and peaceful location that remains virtually
untouched by mass tourism. An area often referred to as 'Secret Spain' it
shares both the charms of Spain and Portugal. It is a special area that is
proudly maintained and protected by the local people. It is an ideal
location for enjoying the sun, beach, sailing, golf, cycling, culture,
visiting scenic nature reserves and bird sancturies.
