Our apartment – LOS CISNES
A beautiful de-luxe newly built apartment constructed in true Andalusian style. Sleeps 4 people and has a front line beach location. The apartment offers superb terrace views of the beach/Atlantic Ocean and the beautiful countryside towards the old town of Ayamonte. The apartment is elevated and on the fourth level. The terrace and apartment have total privacy and is not overlooked. Los Cisnes is a private and secure development with a concierge lodge, electronic entrance gate and private parking. Beautifully maintained landscaped gardens, with fountains, seated areas and lights that illuminate the pool, fountains and paths in the evening. A very large ‘L’ shaped swimming pool and a children’s pool (lifeguard in attendance at all times). A tennis court and two paddle courts. There is immediate access from the apartment development onto the magnificent 7 kilometre long and 40 metre wide fine sandy dune beach. The beach is cleaned daily and is one of the best beaches in Spain. A flat palm tree lined promenade runs the full length of the beach from Isla Canela down to the marina where you will find bars and restaurants to relax and enjoy a drink whilst watching the boats. The promenade is a perfect venue for a peaceful stroll or cycling, especially in the evening as you witness the magnificent evening sunsets. All property developments in Isla Canela have been strictly controlled. There are no buildings over 5 levels high. The whole region is a protected natural reserve with less than 10% of the area having been developed. All developments have been tastefully constructed and landscaped with palm trees and flowers. The natural habitat has been retained and is a residence for a diverse bird population. Our apartment has two lifts and are cleaned daily. The Terrace The sun drenches our large 20 square metre terrace in the afternoon and evening. In the height of summer you can relax on the terrace and watch the amazing sunsets whilst sipping your favourite wine. We have paid extra attention to the terrace area to ensure that this is a comfortable and relaxed outdoor space. We have furnished the terrace with quality German Fisher Mobel table and chairs and Italian outdoor sofa, chairs and table with white cushion seats. Terrace blinds have been fitted to both side and front elevations of the terrace to ensure that the al fresco experience is an enjoyable one. Sliding mosquito screens have been installed to the patio doors leading onto the terrace. We have also provided four adjustable beach chairs that can be either used on the terrace or taken to the beach.
The Lounge With tender loving care we have decorated and finished the lounge to a high standard. Two cream leather sofa’s take centre stage. There is a dining table and four comfortable chairs. A Kenwood hi-fi and a selection of over 125 CD’s. A Toshiba TV has access to digital channels. These include: BBC1 (including regional news channels and programmes) BBC2, ITV1, BBC3, BBC4, ITV2, ITV3, ITV4, Sky News, BBC News 24, ….and many more. All UK radio stations can be accessed through the TV including Radio 1, Radio 2, Radio 3, Radio 4, Radio 5, World Service, Radio 4 longwave (cricket commentaries), Classic FM, Capital Gold, etc, etc. A JVC DVD player with a selection of more than 90 DVD’s. The cool interior provides a comfortable oasis for those hot balmy summer days. Electric fans are at your disposal should you need them.
Kitchen The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will ever need including crockery, glasses and cutlery. Oven, hob, microwave, fridge freezer and toaster. We feel that we have thought of everything… including a corkscrew for your favourite bottle of vino.
Utility Room Washer, ironing board, iron and clothes maiden. Bedroom 1 This is an en-suite bedroom. This includes a bath with shower, bidet, washbasin with cabinet, toilet and shaver point. The bedroom comprises twin beds with ample storage – a double wardrobe, large chest of drawers and a bedside cabinet. A safe deposit box has been fitted in the bottom of the wardrobe to keep all your valuables secure during your visit. A mosquito screen is fitted to the French windows.

Shower Room Enlarged shower with sliding doors. Toilet and washbasin. Mosquito screen fitted to the window. All linen, towels and bath mats are provided. There is a wide choice of bed linen that include Egyptian cotton sheets and pillow cases, duvets, blankets and bedspreads. Please bring your own beach towels. There is a large selection of books and games for your enjoyment as well as tennis rackets and tennis balls.
Maintenance Our property is maintained and managed by Absolute Management, an English company based in Ayamonte (just a five minute drive away). All the staff are English and are extremely helpful and courteous. Their details are in the ‘house’ book in the apartment should you need to contact them during your stay. Absolute can also arrange transport to and from the airports.
Please note that Spanish law requires the attendance of a lifeguard for all large swimming pools. This applies to the swimming pool at Los Cisnes. The pool is open from mid June to mid September. If swimming is important then you can also use the fabulous swimming pool at the luxury Riu Atlantico hotel at the marina which is available for non residents and is open all year. You can also take advantage of the excellent pool side restaurant at the hotel. Changeover day is flexible and all arrangements regarding directions and keys will be provided in advance of your holiday. The apartment will be cleaned before your arrival and the bed linen and towels changed weekly. This is all included in the rental cost as well as all water and electrical charges. A 25% deposit of the total cost of the rental is payable at the time of booking to secure the reservation. A refundable deposit is also required to over any breakages, damage and the return of the keys. If you require additional accommodation for friends or relatives then please let us know as we have contacts with other apartment owners in the same area. We would recommend that the hire of a car is essential to maximise your stay. We can supply you with details of the car hire company we use. Their rates are very competitive. The nearest airports to Isla Canela are Faro (45 minute drive time) and Seville (75 minute drive time). Both these airports are well served by the majority of the UK regional airports. The link from the airports is by an excellent motorway.
